Description

The exact location of this piece is unknown but it was later reproduced as a canvas piece for one of Banksy's exhibitions.

There doesn't seem to be that much in a way of a hidden meaning in this piece and Banksy has made little in the way of comment about the artwork but the area of Timbuktu in Mail, Africa is stricken with drought. The idea of using precious water to wash the stripes on a Zebra is pretty preposterous and maybe it is a reflection on how wasteful the Western World can be with their water supply.
